Get ahead with our Spring Cleaning Check List

After a long Winter, Spring Cleaning helps freshen up your home, removing dust and dirt, and clutter accumulated over the colder months. A clean environment can  reset and revitalise your living space, ensuring your home is ready for entertaining guests or relaxing outdoors. Spring Cleaning promotes both your physical and mental well-being while preparing your home for the warmer seasons ahead. 

Here's a our 1 week Spring Cleaning checklist:

1. Decluttering:
- Go through each room and declutter items you no longer need or use.
- Donate, recycle, sell (Vinted, Ebay, Depop) or throw away items accordingly.

2. Dusting: 
- Dust all surfaces with MadeKind Multi Surface Cleaner and organic cotton cloth, including shelves, furniture, skirting boards, and window ledges.
- Don't forget to dust light fixtures and lampshades.

3. Vacuuming and Mopping:
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Mop hard floors thoroughly with MadeKind Natural Floor Cleaner. pay attention to corners and edges, using a natural bristled cleaning brush.

4. Clean Windows:

5. Kitchen:

6. Bathroom:

- Wash bath mats and shower curtains.

7. Bedroom:
- Wash bedding, including sheets, pillowcases, and mattress protectors.
- Flip or rotate mattresses.
- Organise wardrobes and drawers.

8. Outdoor Areas:
- Sweep and clean porches, patios, and decks.
- Wash outdoor furniture with soapy dish wash.
- Clean barbecue and outdoor cooking equipment.

10. Finishing Touches:
- Clean light switches, doorknobs, and other frequently touched surfaces.
- Freshen up the space with MadeKind Room Mist and open windows to let in fresh air.
